Im sitting here at starbucks writing up this post, not having had access to the internet for the last couple of days make me realize how much I love being online, but more importantly how good it can be to clear your head. I decided last week to come visit my friend who lives in Texas. During this time “away” my mind has been racing with new money making ideas and future business plans.

Spending 12 hours a day on there computer along with the daily stresses of life sometimes the best thing one can do is get away from the computer and “life” in general. You don’t have to take a trip somewhere far or expensive, a simple road trip will do.

    What are your thought?

      Sam,

Last summer I rented a house on the beach on the west coast of Florida. You have to put your car on a barge that takes you across to the island. It is such a different pace of life when you cross over on the barge. It was kind of like you left your worries on the mainland. I forced myself to leave my laptop at home so I could just relax. I did so much thinking during that week… I brought a journal with me to write down some of the ideas I was coming up with. When I got home I pulled out my journal to remind myself of all the ideas and started to put an action plan together for each. I agree… being without the internet can definitely refresh your mind!

Hey Debby thanks for the comment. I love the crew over at Market Leverage. Do you ever come down to the beach in Miami?
